Overall, we believe, this is great recognition of the work we’ve done over the past year, and the continuing vision of our leadership and product development teams. But what does it mean for IT and security managers?
To say the least, 2020 has been a difficult year for IT and security teams worldwide. The pandemic has forced many employees to work remotely, which brings new security risks to corporate assets. Budget pressures, a perennial issue for most IT departments, have become even greater as global economies contract.
On top of it all, there’s a broad movement to consolidate to reduce costs. Enterprises are consolidating IT products, solutions and vendors, all in an attempt to control the budget. Firewalls are an essential part of any enterprise security strategy, and the Gartner Magic Quadrant report provides important insights.
A few of the key characteristics that enterprises normally consider for firewall vendor selection are a strong product strategy in cloud security, and integrated and centralized visibility and management tools across all products. In addition, a firewall-as-a-service offering (FWaaS) is ideal in securing the connections and devices of remote workers.
At Hillstone, our vision and our mantra has always been to deliver the visibility, intelligence and protection that ensure that enterprises comprehensively see, thoroughly understand, and can rapidly act against cyber threats.
Hillstone products include NGFWs for the enterprise, data center and cloud as well as a full portfolio of security offerings including ADC, network detection and response (NDR) and IPS products. The CloudHive provides a microsegmentation solution for virtualized data centers. sBDS, our server breach detection system, and multiple security management solutions round out our portfolio and give network security admins a full arsenal of protections against attacks.
That’s right in line with our vision and our strategy. To put it simply: See. Understand. Act.
With Hillstone, IT admins can see from the edge to the cloud, into VMs and traffic, and into all users, devices, applications and networks. Hillstone was one of the first vendors to focus on the cloud and provides comprehensive security analytics and other tools to enforce security posture.
A broad and deep understanding of potential threats is gained through comprehensive security analytics and high-speed network traffic analysis. Through these tools, security teams can intelligently understand the entire cyber kill-chain.
And finally, Hillstone helps enterprises act in a timely manner against threats. For example, we provide a single point of control to drive distributed enforcement across thousands of assets as well as effective enforcement in hard-to-reach places like the remote edge, deep within virtualized infrastructures, and even into IP camera networks.
Hillstone products seek out and identify Indicators of Compromise (IOCs), correlate and analyze the threats, and use multiple threat detection engines for accurate and rapid discovery. In addition, our products offer AI-powered intelligent breach prevention, the ability to protect cloud data centers inside and out, and secure SD-WAN for distributed enterprises.
We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our customers in defending their networks, data, applications and other assets in the corporate network, in the data center, and in the cloud.
