End of Life Policy and Announcement

Important Product Information

When new and improved technologies are available; or new developments have made previous versions obsolete; or when our end users, business partners and marketplace dictate, we will slowly make the older version no longer available for purchase. This is part of all standard product lifecycles. When our products EOL, we will strive to make the process as non-disruptive as possible, with advanced notice and a transparent process that makes the transition seamless for you.

Hillstone Networks EOL Policy

• EOS Announcement: All product EOS announcements will be made public 6 months prior to End of Sale (EOS) date.
• Support and Maintenance: In order for you to receive support and maintenance during the EOL transition period, you will need to have a current support contract that is in good standing with Hillstone.
• Software: The End of Support date for the Hillstone Networks Operating System, StoneOS, or Hillstone Software product is 36 months after EOS date.
• Hardware: The End of support for the Hillstone hardware is 60 months from EOS date.
• Service Renewal: The end of service or support contracts renewal is 24 months from EOS date.

Glossary of Terms

• End of Life: A set of processes and communications that make a product obsolete. Once obsolete, a product will no longer be available for purchase. It will not be built, developed, maintained, or supported.
• End of Sale date: The last date to order the product for purchase. After this date, the product will no longer be sold.
• End of Support date: The last day of the support and maintenance period.
• Hardware: The physical product and its physical components.
• Software: Hillstone Networks operating system software that runs on the hardware.
• Maintenance/Support: Hillstone Networks will release any software maintenance releases or bug fixes to the software during a given window of time, purchased by the end user.

Dec. 30th, 2023, EOS Announcement for HSM-500-D4, HSM-100-D4, HSM-P100, HSM-P3000 of Hillstone Security Management (HSM) and HSA-4D, HSA-10D, HSA-30D of Hillstone Security Audit (HSA)

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of December 30th, 2023 for HSM-500-D4, HSM-100-D4, HSM-P100, HSM-P3000 appliances of Hillstone Security Management (HSM) and HSA-4D, HSA-10D, HSA-30D appliances of Hillstone Security Audit (HSA). Hillstone HSM-500-D4, HSM-100-D4, HSM-P100, HSM-P3000 of Hillstone Security Management (HSM) and HSA-4D, HSA-10D, HSA-30D will be available for sale until the EOS date, with support for renewal orders until December 30th, 2025; software service and hardware service until December 30th, 2028. Sept. 30th 2023, EOS Announcement for LMS-30 of License Management System (LMS)

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of September 30th, 2023 for LMS-30 appliance of Hillstone License Management System (LMS). Hillstone LMS-30 will be available for sale until the EOS date, with support for renewal orders until December 31st, 2023; software service and hardware service until December 31st, 2024. This extended support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

Mar. 31st 2023, EOS Announcement for SIOM-P40-300, IOM-P40-300

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of March 31st, 2023 for Hillstone Modules SIOM-P40-300, IOM-P40-300. Hillstone Modules SIOM-P40-300, IOM-P40-300 will be available for sale until the EOS date, with support for renewal orders until March 31st, 2025; software service until March 31st, 2026, and hardware service until March 31st, 2028. This extended support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

June. 30th 2022, EOS Announcement for T-Series Intelligent Next-Generation Firewall (iNGFW) and X7180 Data Center Firewall

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of June 30th, 2022 for T-Series Intelligent Next-Generation Firewall (iNGFW). T-Series Intelligent Next-Generation Firewall will be available for sale until the EOS date, with support for renewal orders until June 30th, 2023; software service until June 30th, 2024, and hardware service until June 30th, 2026. This extended support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

Hillstone Networks is also announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of June 30th, 2022 for X7180 Data Center Firewall and its expansion modules including SCM-100, IOM-2Q8SFP+, QSM-100, QSM-200, IOM-2MM-BE, IOM-2SM-BE.An End-of-Sale (EOS) date of June 30, 2024, is announced for the expansion modules for X7180 Data Center Firewall including SSM-100, SSM-200, IOM-16SFP-100, IOM-8SFP+, IOM-2Q8SFP+-200.X7180 Data Center Firewall and all the said expansion modules will be available for sale until the EOS date, renewal orders until June 30, 2024; software service until June 30, 2025, and hardware service until June 30, 2027. This extended support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

Oct. 12th 2021, EOS Announcement for IOC-S-8GE-B, IOC-AX-8GE-B, IOC-S-8GE-B

Oct. 22nd 2020, EOS Announcement for HSA-10 and HSA-10P

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of October 22, 2020 for Hillstone HSA-10 and HSA-10P. In accordance with the Hillstone End-of-Life (EOL) policy, these models will be available with software support for an additional 3 years, until October 22, 2023. This extended 3-year support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

Mar. 19th 2020, EOS Announcement for HSM-50, HSA-3D and HSA-5D

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of September 19, 2020 for Hillstone HSM-50, HSA-3D and HSA-5D. In accordance with the Hillstone End-of-Life (EOL) policy, these models will be available for sale until the EOS date, with software support for an additional 3 years, until September 19, 2023. This extended 3-year support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

Apr. 15th 2019, EOS Announcement for HSM-200

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of October 30, 2019 for Hillstone HSM-200. In accordance with the Hillstone End-of-Life (EOL) policy, these models will be available for sale until the EOS date, with software support for an additional 3 years, until October 30, 2022. This extended 3-year support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

Oct. 15th 2018, EOS Announcement for E1100WG3w

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of April 15, 2019 for Hillstone E1100WG3w. In accordance with the Hillstone End-of-Life (EOL) policy, these models will be available for sale until the EOS date, with software support for an additional 3 years, until April 15, 2022. This extended 3-year support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

Jul. 1st 2018, EOS Announcement for IOM-4XFP-100, IOC-2XFP-Lite-M

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of December, 31, 2018 for Hillstone Modules IOM-4XFP-100, IOC-2XFP-Lite-M. In accordance with the Hillstone End-of-Life (EOL) policy, these models will be available for sale until the EOS date, with software support for an additional 3 years, until December 31, 2021. This extended 3-year support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of December, 31, 2017 for Hillstone E3660. In accordance with the Hillstone End-of-Life (EOL) policy, these models will be available for sale until the EOS date, with software support for an additional 3 years, until December 31, 2020. This extended 3-year support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

Jun. 1st 2015, EOS Announcement for Unified Intelligence Firewall (UIF)

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of December, 1, 2016 for Hillstone Unified Intelligence Firewall (UIF). In accordance with the Hillstone End-of-Life (EOL) policy, these models will be available for sale until the EOS date, with software support for an additional 3 years, until December 1, 2018. This extended 3-year support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.

Apr. 1st 2015, EOS Announcement for Hillstone M/G Series NGFW

Hillstone Networks is announcing today an End-of-Sale (EOS) date of October 1, 2015 for Hillstone M/G Series Next-Generation Firewall*. In accordance with the Hillstone End-of-Life (EOL) policy, these models will be available for sale until the EOS date, with software support for an additional 3 years, until October 1, 2018, and hardware support for an additional 5 years, until October, 1, 2020. This extended support is contingent on the units having a valid and uninterrupted support contract.
