Hillstone Networks Added as CVE Numbering Authority (CNA)

by

Hillstone Networks, a leading provider of innovative and accessible cybersecurity solutions, has been added as a Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) Numbering Authority (CNA) to classify and report on vulnerabilities. With 275 organizations across 36 countries, the CVE Program aims to help security professionals access information on vulnerabilities and cyber threats across multiple information sources and coordinate mitigation efforts using one common name.

The CVE Program is operated by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and serves as a centralized body for identifying, monitoring, and sharing information on vulnerabilities found in systems and networks globally. The CVE Program assigns a unique identifier — CVE ID — to each vulnerability, making it easier for cybersecurity professionals to share information about vulnerabilities and to develop and deploy effective patches and updates to the products. In this capacity, Hillstone will be able to assign CVE IDs to vulnerabilities found in our products, as well as enhance our ability to swiftly and accurately communicate vulnerabilities to the broader community to ensure the security of all environments where the products are deployed.

Hillstone has a long-standing commitment with a world-class cybersecurity portfolio that secures over 23K customers world-wide, helping businesses safeguard their networks and critical assets against threats. The CNA inclusion is a great way to contribute to the global mission of enhancing cybersecurity and cyber resilience worldwide.
