Overview
After user authentication, the Web management interface of Hillstone HSA lacks effective filtering of user-controllable request parameters and directly concatenates them into system commands for execution. An authenticated attacker can construct a malicious request, send a specially crafted HTTP request to the device management interface, and inject and execute arbitrary system commands, thereby gaining control of the device.
