High-Tech Startup LinkTime Secures Business Across Public Cloud Platforms AWS and Alicloud With Hillstone Networks

by | May 9, 2017

SUNNYVALE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–
Hillstone Networks announced today that fast-growing high-tech startup, LinkTime, has selected Hillstone to secure its network across multiple cloud service providers. With the Hillstone network security solution, LinkTime has not only secured its network, but has increased its business and overall productivity for its growing team.

To engage with clients and drive business, LinkTime employees needed remote, secure access to the applications and servers located on the cloud from anywhere, at any time. LinkTime, with offices in both the US and China, had been looking for one solution that could protect their data in both of their public cloud platforms on both sides of the Pacific Ocean. In addition, they needed to secure data transactions between these two cloud providers and their respective local offices.

“Hillstone Networks has helped LinkTime be an agile business, by helping our teams have fast, secure access to critical application servers from anywhere, anytime,” said Feng Peng, CEO at LinkTime.

Hillstone supports major public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure and Alicloud. In order to link AWS in the US and Alicloud in China – Hillstone Networks was the clear and only choice since Hillstone has been the first and the only commercial network security vendor certified on Alicloud.

LinkTime deployed the Hillstone E Series Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), and Hillstone CloudEdge, delivering the following benefits:

  • Protect LinkTime’s assets in both the cloud and physical locations, and provide secure connection between these four sites with the hardware-based NGFW and virtual firewall, CloudEdge.
  • Enable secure access to application servers from anywhere, anytime, without the hassle of calling in to obtain access to specific IP addresses.
  • Guarantee that critical business applications are first priority, thereby improving overall efficiency and productivity.

“Businesses today run in dynamic, global environments that require instant and secure access to critical applications,” said Lingling Zhang, VP of Product Management and Marketing, at Hillstone Networks. “Many access their mission-critical applications from the cloud – therefore security in the cloud or in a physical data center is a critical component of any solution they deploy. We are proud to be the first and only network security vendor to be supported in such a growing market as Alicloud.”
