Configuring a DNS Server
Configure a DNS server for StoneOS to implement DNS resolution. This section describes how to configure a DNS server.
Creating a DNS Server
To create a DNS server, take the following steps:
- On the Navigation pane, click Configure > Network > Network to visit the Network page.
- On the Task tab in the right auxiliary pane, click DNS.
- On the Server and Proxy tab in the DNS List dialog, click New in the DNS Server section.
- In the DNS Server Configuration dialog, type the IP address for the DNS server into the Server IP box.
- Select a VRouter from the VR drop-down list. The default VRouter is trust-vr.
- Click OK.
Deleting a DNS Server
To delete a DNS server, take the following steps:
- On the Navigation pane, click Configure > Network > Network to visit the Network page.
- On the Task tab in the right auxiliary pane, click DNS.
- On the Server and Proxy tab in the DNS List dialog, select a server from the DNS server list and click Delete.
