Attack Packet Management

The device provides the Attack Packet Management function. After enabling the Capture Packets function in the Threat Protection module, the system captures the attack packets that match the threat signature. You can manage the captured attack packets and configure the packet capture settings by using the Attack Packet Management function：

Packet Management: Displays the following information of the captured packets: the policy rule/zone where the packets were captured, when the packets are captures, and the size of the captured packets. You can also delete or download the information of the captured packets, and view the total size of all captured packets.
Capture Settings: Sets the capture size, maximum capture rate, and maximum total packets size.

Items in the Packet Management tab:

Item	Description
Policy Rule/Zone	Displays the policy rule/zone where the packets were captured.
Capture at	Displays the time that the packets were captured.
Size	Displays the size of the captured packets.
Delete	Delete the selected packets.
Download	Download the selected packets.
Total Packets	Displays the total size and the percentage of the captured packets.
All	Specifies the period of time to view the packet information during the specified period of time. You can customize the period of time. Click Select Time Period and the Select Time dialog appears. Customize the period of time according to your requirements.

Options in the Capture Settings tab:

Option	Description
Capture Size	Specifies the size of the captured packets. The unit is KB. The available range is 1KB to 3KB. The default value is 3K.
Maximum Capture Rate	Specifies the maximum capture rate. The available range is 100 to 1000/sec. The default value is 200/sec.
Maximum Total Packets Size	Specifies the maximum space size for storing the packets. The unit is MB. The available range is 100MB to 1000MB. The default value is 1000MB.
