Introduction to Web Authentication

Hillstone devices support Web Authentication. This function is designed to authenticate users who access the Internet via the device over HTTP. After configuring the web authentication, all HTTP requests will be redirected to the web authentication login page, on which users should provide the correct username and password. When users pass the web authentication successfully, the system will assign roles to IP address according to the policies in order to control the users permission. In addition, the system supports customized web authentication page.
