You can specify the global parameters for threat protection.
Options in the Global Configuration page:

Force Check |
Select the Enable check box to enable force check. With this function enabled, system will drop the traffic that requires detection if the detection cannot be properly implemented (for example, during signature database update or configuration update). By default this function is disabled, i.e., the traffic that requires detection can still pass through even if the detection cannot be properly implemented. |

Max Decompression Layer: |
By default system can scan the files of up to 5 decompression layers. To specify a decompression layer, select a value from the drop-down list. The value range is 1 to 5. |

Exceed Action |
Specifies an action for the compressed files that exceed the max decompression layer. Select an action from the drop-down list:

Specifies an action for encrypted compressed files:

Signature List |
Search: Specifies the filtering conditions and then click Search, the Signature List will show you the signatures that meet your requirements.
Enable: Select the signature you want to enable in the list and then click Enable. Disable: Select the signature you want to disable in the list and then click Disable. System cannot detect the signature packet after it is disabled. |
