Overview Hillstone Networks’ SCVPN (Security Connect VPN) is a third-generation and high-performance SSL VPN solution. With both the advantages of traditional IPSec and SSL VPN, SCVPN guarantee compatibility with applications through IP layer access, and at the same time, provides fine grain access control. Based on the user authentication mechanism of SSL VPN, installation and upgrade of SCVPN can be performed automatically, without pre-installing and pre-configuring on the client side. Remote access deployment of VPN can be reduced to a minimal. In Hillstone devices, both SSL VPN and IPSec VPN can be route based to provide ubiquitous access from anywhere on the network layer. Fine grained role based access can be setup on the device to provide strong control on what resources a certain user can access. |

Typical Case Hillstone Networks’ the third generation SSL VPN solution SCVPN is ideal for remote access deployment. This deployment scenario is suitable for employees who work away from office. Employee connects to the Intranet through SCVPN client, and if policy permits, he could access Intranet resources, same as if he is working in the office. The company can integrate user authentication with existing Active Directory or Radius server. The connection is bidirectional. If policy allows, resources inside the Intranet can initiate connection to this user’s system.
