Hillstone developed Secure Defender client software to completely solve the ARP snooping problem. By mandatory or manual installation of the software, Secure Defender can control the client network stack on the driver layer. ARP information sending out from Hillstone devices, which are verified by PKI mechanisms, will be trusted over unauthenticated ARP exchange. If a client system installed with Secure Defender is infected and start sending out ARP spoofing attacks, the software will also detect it and block the traffic. This will also protect the normal operation of the network.
Administrator can redirect systems that do not have Secure Defender installed to the installation web page, deny their other access. This facilitates the deployment of the software. |
