Hillstone Networks Among the First to Obtain “CERTIFICATE OF NATIONAL CERTIFICATION FOR INFORMATION
Beijing, China, August 28, 2009 – Hillstone Networks’ next-generation security appliance SG-6000 has been awarded the CERTIFICATE OF NATIONAL CERTIFICATION FOR INFORMATION SECURITY PRODUCT at the National Information Security Products Award Meeting holding by ISCCC, becoming the first batch of products that have attained such certificate. On April 27, 2009, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China (AQSIQ), Ministry of Finance (MOF), and Certification and Accreditation administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) jointly announced that a compulsive authentication will be performed to 13 types of products, such as firewall, intrusion detection system, and security audit products, within the limit of Government Procurement Law (GPL), from May 1st, 2010 on. According to the notice, products without the Compulsory Certificate and the Compulsory Certification Mark shall not be available for government purchases.
