Qianlong: A Success Case of Hillstone Networks Multi-Core Security Appliance – For an ISP
An unnamed ISP, after several years of network construction, as business and traffic expanded, the security devices of the ISP are increasingly taking over rack space and cannot handle the traffic volume. P2P application, online video and multi-threaded download occupy lots of network bandwidth. Very high number of new sessions per second and millions of concurrent sessions at peak time exceeded the capability of existing firewalls. After deploying Hillstone SA-5050 multi-core security appliance, the system has been running smoothly. The customer solves the following problems of original firewalls, low performance, high maintenance, unable to collect traffic log, and high rack space.
