Multi-core processor breaks the performance barrier faced by today’s security device, such as firewall, UTM, anti-virus gateway. Multiple cores provide the possibility of parallel processing and parallel computing of security service on the hardware level. From the technology point of view, the biggest challenge is how to realize the full potential of multi-core product’s by optimizing parallel algorithms. Using multi-core architecture as the basis, integrating ASIC and high-speed switching technology, product performance can be further improved.
