Hillstone Networks is a security manufacturer that has been rising rapidly these years. It is known for providing integrated security appliance and security solutions. CCW Lab has tested 3 models of Hillstone Networks’ products in these two years. Functions of the products have improved step by step, and the performance is running at record levels. Recently, the release of SG-6000-G5150 test report has raised a new round of discussion. To unravel the mystery of high performance, we specially invited Hillstone Network’s Vice President Mr. Ning Mo and CTO Mr. Timothy Liu to show us the answer. The improving process from Multi-Core Plus to Multi-Core Plus G2, in fact, is a process that uses innovative abilities to satisfy the marketing requirements. Customers is wishing for higher performance when AV and IPS are running. This cannot be realized by a single chip, thus, Multi-Core G2 is a natural-evolution of technology to break the performance bottleneck. The important improvement of Multi-Core Plus G2 is the parallel processing of multi-core and multi-CPU. This improvement gets rid of the processing limitation of a single CPU chip, and makes it possible to extent performance to a higher level.
